The Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS pamphlet is a testament to the creative prowess of E-graphics communications. Despite a limited budget, the team managed to depict the dynamism of the Eclipse Cross effectively. The design process involved studio shootings and the use of 3DCG to reproduce the realistic sensation of the vehicle’s high performance. This innovative approach resulted in images that make people feel as if they were driving the car in different weather conditions.
The choice of colors in the pamphlet further enhances its appeal. The corporate color red, contrasted with black lining the edge of the exterior, brings out the powerful personality of the Eclipse Cross and gives it a premium feel. The pamphlet, sized at A4 (210-mm x 297-mm) with 24 pages, uses “FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved paper”, made from thinned wood, reflecting a commitment to environmental sustainability.
The pamphlet serves as an introductory tool for actual negotiation meetings, providing basic information such as exterior design, body colors, and available functions. It is used during the teaser campaign period prior to a new model release, sparking market interest and aiding sales representatives in their negotiations with targeted customers.
The Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS pamphlet was developed for use from December 2017 until the release date in February 2018 for taking preorders. This innovative approach to car preorder pamphlets is a reflection of Mitsubishi Motors' new brand tagline, “Drive your Ambition”, and the aggressive design of the Eclipse Cross symbolizes this tagline.
The unique design and innovative approach of the Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS pamphlet have not gone unnoticed. It was awarded the Golden A' Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design Award in 2018, a testament to its outstanding and trendsetting creation that advances art, design, and technology.
